How to arrive
Residenza Marchesi Pontenani is reachable without any difficulties by car e from the railways stations of Santa Maria Novella (to come to the residence from the train station it takes 25 minutes walking, or 10/15 minutes by taxi the cost will be around €15. In alternative you can take the bus number 23A (Sorgane direction), you have to get off in Zecca Vecchia bus stop, you will be in the residence in 5 minutes, walking) and Campo di Marte. It’s possible to park in the immediate surroundings (blue-lines places only) or in the covered car-parkings. We have also an agreement with a private garage.
From South
Highway A1 – exit FIRENZE SUD – Direction “Centro”; follow “Lungarno” (along the river Arno) until when you have to turn right entering the “Viali (avenues)”; at the first traffic light turn left (following the red bricks wall), keep your left and take the avenue toward the river. Keep your right hand and, reaching the Tower of the Zecca Vecchia, turn right in the Lungarno della Zecca Vecchia, turn right in Via Delle Casine, at number 6 you will find a old, big, green door. From North and East
Highway A1 – exit FIRENZE NORD – Direction “Centro”. Follow directions to “Centro-Viali Circonvallazione”. Pass through Piazza della Libertà, go on passing through Piazza Beccaria, continue straight till the Tower of the Zecca Vecchia, turn right in the Lungarno della Zecca Vecchia, turn right in Via Delle Casine, at number 6 you will find a old, big, green door.
